Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
The visionary game developer, who helped create the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday, as reported by.
"This represents an unimaginable loss, and we stand with his family and friends, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
